The Har-Ber Wildcats won its first 7A state football championship in only its second title game appearance in school history Saturday night in Little Rock, defeating the Fort Smith Southside Rebels 27-6.

Rebels rise again
Fort Smith Southside quarterback Hunter Whorton ran for three touchdowns to lead the Rebels to a 27-24 win against the favored Bentonville Tigers at home on Friday night, the second win over the top-ranked team in 7A this season.
